The most established UK car competition operators compared on ticket prices, draw format, Trustpilot scores and Government Voluntary Code status.
The UK car competition market has grown enormously over the past decade. There are now dozens of operators running draws for everything from hot hatches to supercars, and knowing which sites are trustworthy, which offer the best value, and how they differ from one another is not always straightforward.
This guide covers the most established and credible car competition operators in the UK, how they compare on ticket pricing, draw format and trust signals, and what to look for before spending any money.
We've reviewed all of the operators featured below — see our full [Rev Comps review](/operators/rev-comps), [Dream Car Giveaways review](/operators/dream-car-giveaways), [McKinney Competitions review](/operators/mckinney-competitions), and [Aspire Competitions review](/operators/aspire-competitions).
What to Look for in a Car Competition
Before looking at individual operators, it helps to know what separates a well-run competition from a poor one. There are four things worth checking on any competition page before you buy a ticket.
Guaranteed draws. The best operators commit to drawing a winner on the stated date regardless of how many tickets have sold. This protects you if a competition undersells, and actually improves your odds if fewer tickets have been purchased than the cap allows.
Published ticket caps. A fixed maximum number of tickets gives you a calculable odds position. If a draw has 5,000 tickets and you buy 10, your odds are 1 in 500. If an operator does not publish the total ticket limit, you cannot know your real chances.
Live draws. The most trustworthy operators conduct their draws publicly on Facebook or YouTube in real time, allowing anyone to watch the winning number selected and verify the result.
Government Voluntary Code status. Since November 2025, the DCMS Government Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators provides the clearest publicly available trust signal in the sector. Signatories have formally committed to age verification, spend limits, complaints processes and responsible play standards. The full signatory list is available at gov.uk.
BOTB (Best of the Best)
Founded 1999, UK based. Trustpilot 4.1 stars from 10,000+ reviews. Confirmed Voluntary Code signatory.
BOTB is the longest-established name in the UK car competition market, operating since 1999. Its signature format is the Spot the Ball competition, where players pay to mark where they think the ball is in a cropped football photo. Closest to the judges' panel decision wins the car. This is a skill-based game rather than a pure chance draw, which makes BOTB structurally different from most other operators on this list.
In recent years BOTB has also introduced prize draws, instant wins and house competitions alongside the traditional format, now running under Winvia Entertainment Limited following a change of ownership in 2023. Tickets start from around 40p depending on the prize chosen.
The Spot the Ball format is unique in the UK market and genuinely entertaining, but it suits players who enjoy the skill element. The newer prize draw format is more comparable to other operators. Some long-term players have noted changes to the platform since the ownership change.
Best for: players who enjoy a skill-based entry mechanism and want a long-established brand with a strong winners history.
Dream Car Giveaways
Founded 2018, based in Worcestershire. Trustpilot 4.5+ stars from 8,000+ reviews. Confirmed Voluntary Code signatory.
One of the longest-established pure prize draw operators, Dream Car Giveaways was set up by petrolhead founders and has given away over £100 million in prizes since launching. The prize range is wide, covering performance cars, classics, family vehicles, property and cash.
Ticket prices start from as little as 8p, making it one of the most accessible operators for budget-conscious players. All competitions are guaranteed to go ahead regardless of ticket sales. Live draws on Facebook and YouTube. A 15% discount is typically available for first-time buyers.
Best for: players looking for a wide range of car prizes at very low entry prices, with a long track record of verified winners.
Rev Comps
Founded 2019, based in Paignton, Devon. Trustpilot 5 stars from 8,800+ reviews. Confirmed Voluntary Code signatory.
A family-run business founded by father and son Peter and Robert Savage, Rev Comps is focused primarily on vehicles including cars, bikes and vans. It uses a fixed odds model, meaning the total ticket cap is set before the competition opens and never changes, giving players a clear and calculable odds position from the moment they enter.
Live draws take place every Monday and Thursday at 8:10pm on Facebook. Most prizes are second-hand or pre-owned, clearly stated on each listing. Ticket prices start from around £6, higher than many competitors, reflecting the fixed odds structure. Cash alternatives available on most prizes.
Best for: players who prioritise transparency and fixed odds, and who enjoy a strong community feel around the draw process.
7 Days Performance
Founded 2018, based in Norfolk. Trustpilot 4.5+ stars from 5,100+ reviews. Confirmed Voluntary Code signatory.
One of the largest competition sites in the UK by volume, 7 Days Performance offers cars, motorbikes, cash, tech and watches at ticket prices starting from under £1. Draw formats include live Facebook draws and an Instant Win format where prizes are pre-allocated to ticket numbers.
Guaranteed draw dates regardless of ticket sales. A free daily competition is available via their app. Particularly popular for the breadth of its prize range and low entry point.
Best for: players who want frequent draws at low entry prices across a wide range of prize categories.
McKinney Competitions
Founded 2020, based in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. Trustpilot 5 stars from 33,000+ reviews. Confirmed Voluntary Code signatory.
Despite launching only in 2020, McKinney has grown into one of the most reviewed competition operators in the UK market. Cars sit alongside a broad prize range including property competitions in the UK, Spain, Portugal and Ireland, holidays, tech and cash.
Ticket prices from 49p. Live draws on Facebook and YouTube. All draws guaranteed regardless of ticket sales. A 2% cashback scheme applies to all purchases. Winners gallery publicly available.
Best for: players interested in both car and property competitions, with a high volume of draws and a very strong Trustpilot record.
Elite Competitions
Founded 2016, based in Blackpool. Trustpilot 4.4 stars from 15,500+ reviews. Confirmed Voluntary Code signatory.
One of the older operators in the market, Elite Competitions has been running since 2016 and offers cars, cash, watches, tech and luxury prizes. The site runs a combination of Instant Win competitions and live-drawn end prizes, with draws broadcast on Facebook and YouTube.
Also offers an Elite Club subscription model giving members automatic entry into members-only draws. Ticket prices vary across the range and some competitions are available at higher price points. Some players have noted that certain competitions have higher odds than they would prefer.
Best for: players who want a long-established operator with a broad prize range, particularly those interested in a subscription entry model.
LLF Games
Founded around 2019, based in Dorset. Trustpilot 4.9 stars from 8,500+ reviews. Confirmed Voluntary Code signatory.
LLF Games is particularly popular with modified car and JDM enthusiasts, specialising in performance and enthusiast vehicles at very low ticket prices, sometimes from 3p to 5p per entry. Over £20 million in prizes given away. The prize selection is heavily skewed toward the car enthusiast market rather than a broad consumer audience.
Best for: modified car and JDM enthusiasts who want a specialist operator with very low-cost entry points.
Aspire Competitions
Founded 2019, based in Taunton, Somerset. Trustpilot 4.8 stars from 28,500+ reviews. Confirmed Voluntary Code signatory.
Aspire is better known for campervans and motorhomes than mainstream cars, but does run car competitions alongside its broader prize range. Ticket prices are among the lowest in the sector, typically 79p to £2. Live draws on Monday and Friday evenings at 9pm with a highly engaged community following.
Best for: players interested in campervans, motorhomes and lifestyle vehicles as well as cars, at very low entry prices.

What Makes a Good Odds Calculation
Before entering any competition, it is worth doing a quick calculation. Every legitimate operator publishes the total number of tickets available. Divide the number of tickets you plan to buy by the total available and you have your odds. If a competition has 5,000 tickets and you buy 5, your odds are 1 in 1,000.
The other useful figure is the total cost of all tickets in the competition, which represents the theoretical price of a guaranteed win. Dividing the prize value by that total cost gives you a rough sense of the value per pound spent. Competitions with lower ticket caps relative to the prize value offer better expected returns per entry.

Tips Before You Enter
- Stick to Voluntary Code signatories. The DCMS signatory list at gov.uk is the clearest public trust signal available. All operators listed in this guide are confirmed signatories.
- Check the draw date guarantee. Operators who guarantee draws go ahead regardless of ticket sales offer meaningful consumer protection.
- Look for a verifiable winners gallery. Established operators publish winner names, photos and draw recordings.
- Consider the cash alternative. Most operators offer a cash alternative to the physical vehicle.
- Use the free postal entry route for high-priced competitions. All legitimate UK operators are legally required to offer a free entry route, typically by post. For competitions with tickets priced at £3 or more, this can represent genuine value.
